Location

Düzce is the capital of Düzce Province, located in Northern Anatolia, overlooking the Black Sea. It sits on a plateau on the western coast of the Black Sea, approximately 217 km from Istanbul, with an estimated population of 60,000 residents. The city has seven affiliated villages, the most notable being Gümüşova, Yığılca, Kaynaşlı, Akçakoca, and Çilimli.

Düzce University

Düzce is home to Düzce University, accredited by the Turkish Higher Education Authority and recognized in most Arab countries. One of its key features is that it does not require any entrance exams; only a high school diploma is needed for university admission. The university comprises approximately 14 faculties, 24 research and application centers, and 7 vocational schools. It offers various programs for master’s and doctoral students and boasts a large scientific library with many e-books that enhance education and support research activities. Additionally, Düzce University provides an Erasmus student exchange program with several European universities, allowing students accepted into the program to complete a year of study at the partner universities.
